{"doi":"10.51473/rcmos.v1i2.2025.1275","title":"Ciclo circadiano e nutrição no processo de redução de peso em pessoas com obesidade","abstract":"<jats:p>Introduction: Obesity is a multifactorial chronic disease, identified by the excessive accumulation of body fat and is related to various comorbidities, such as type 2 diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular diseases (ABESO, 2019). Estimates show that more than 2.3 billion people worldwide would be overweight by 2025, which represents one of the greatest challenges for public health systems. Objective: the general objective of the study is to analyze the impact of the circadian cycle on the weight reduction process in individuals with obesity, taking into account hormonal, metabolic, and behavioral aspects. Methodology: The study is a bibliographic review with descriptive and exploratory aspects, with a total of 32 articles selected from the years 2020 to 2025. After the screening, 7 articles in English and Spanish were selected for compilation.
