{"doi":"10.3233/jae-2002-227","title":"Low deforming induction heating of locomotive wheel: Coupled electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical simulation","abstract":"<jats:p>The coupled electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical simulation for induction heating of railroad wheel is described. The developed mathematical models, numerical algorithms and software are intended for finite element analysis of interactive electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical processes in treated wheels. The problems are solved in axisymmetrical formulation.
