The first is that of the island arc tholeiite in the Kitakami river area, where rocks are basalts, andesites and dacites, all being of the island arc tholeiite or calc-alkali rock series. On the other hand, the second is a mixed province of the oceanic tholeiite and the island arc tholeiite series, in which occur, in association with the island arc tholeiitic rocks, basalts and andesites occasionally rich in TiO2 and FeO*, icelandite-like andesites and dacites similar in composition to rocks of the oceanic regions. Its area extends from Sendai southwards to the Abukuma mountains district. The boundary between the two provinces corresponds to the Matsushima-Honjo line defined by Oide and Onuma (1960).","is_dataset_classified":null,"base_score":0.6931471805599453,"endowment":0.6931471805599453,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"views":0,"has_version_chain":false,"is_dataset":false,"is_oa":false,"pmid":"23304386","pmcid":null,"openalex_id":"https://openalex.org/W2321152605","authors":[],"funders":[],"total_grants":0,"fwci":0.0,"citation_percentile":0.21225476,"influential_citations":0,"citation_trend":[],"oa_status":"bronze","license":null,"oa_locations":[{"url":"https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/article/ganko1941/81/5/81_5_190/_pdf","host_type":"journal"},{"url":"https://www.jstage.jst.go.jp/article/ganko1941/81/5/81_5_190/_pdf","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"https://doi.org/10.2465/ganko1941.81.190","host_type":"journal"}],"fields_of_study":["Geological and Geochemical Analysis","Geochemistry and Geologic Mapping","Geochemistry and Elemental Analysis"],"mesh_terms":[],"keywords":["Andesites","Geology","Petrography","Volcanic rock","Geochemistry","Island arc","Basalt","Andesite","Volcanic arc","Subduction","Volcano","Paleontology","Tectonics"],"sdg_mappings":[{"sdg_number":0,"sdg_label":"Life below water"}],"linked_datasets":[],"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"database_accessions":[],"source":"live","citation_network_status":"fetched"},"created_at":"2026-07-28T09:47:29.486201Z","pmid":null,"pmcid":null,"fwci":null,"citation_percentile":null,"influential_citations":0,"oa_status":null,"license":null,"views":0,"total_file_size_bytes":0,"version_count":0,"fair_f":null,"fair_a":null,"fair_i":null,"fair_r":null,"fair_zscore":null,"fair_rationale":null,"fair_model":null,"fair_agent_version":null,"fair_fulltext_source":null,"fair_has_llm":null,"fair_computed_at":null,"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"db_accessions":[],"linked_datasets":[],"topics":[]}
