{"doi":"10.23919/ccc58697.2023.10240530","title":"The Effect of Vaccination Strategy on Epidemic Spreading with Limited Hospital Resource","abstract":"In this paper, we study the impact of vaccination strategy to the spreading of epidemics with high transmissibility, in the condition that the efficacy of the vaccine of the disease is limited. Besides, we further consider the factor of hospital resource in reducing the number of deaths from the disease. Our quantitative investigations manifest the effect of protection as against to the high transmissibility disease under different level of hospital resource. In the condition of different levels of hospital resource, we compared the influence of two typical levels of vaccination. We find that it is not always the best choice to vaccinate people as many as possible, especially when the efficacy of the vaccine is limited.
