This model measures the relationship between health belief and health behavior, and it is based on the hypothesis that the adoption of preventive behavior is based on the beliefs of the person. In this model, whatever perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, and perceived benefits are stronger, perceived barriers are weaker, and the probability of adoption of preventive health behaviors is greater. In this model, perceived barriers are considered the most important predictors of behavior.","is_dataset_classified":null,"base_score":2.4849066497880004,"endowment":2.4849066497880004,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"views":0,"has_version_chain":false,"is_dataset":false,"is_oa":false,"pmid":"19910364","pmcid":null,"openalex_id":"https://openalex.org/W2923199793","authors":[],"funders":[],"total_grants":0,"fwci":0.4243,"citation_percentile":0.75630081,"influential_citations":0,"citation_trend":[{"year":2021,"count":1},{"year":2022,"count":4},{"year":2023,"count":4},{"year":2024,"count":1},{"year":2026,"count":1}],"oa_status":"gold","license":"cc-by","oa_locations":[{"url":"https://doi.org/10.21859/jech.5.3.1","host_type":"journal"},{"url":"https://doi.org/10.21859/jech.5.3.1","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"http://jech.umsha.ac.ir/article-1-487-en.pdf","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"https://doaj.org/article/d2156671d36c4be7a12c9c5e4ff5a7ca","host_type":"repository"}],"fields_of_study":["Food Security and Health in Diverse Populations","Behavioral Health and Interventions","Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health"],"mesh_terms":[],"keywords":["Health belief model","Psychology","Health literacy","Health behavior","Component (thermodynamics)","Social psychology","Health education","Environmental health","Medicine","Public health","Health care","Nursing"],"sdg_mappings":[{"sdg_number":0,"sdg_label":"Quality Education"}],"linked_datasets":[],"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"database_accessions":[],"source":"live","citation_network_status":"fetched"},"created_at":"2026-08-04T12:02:29.222540Z","pmid":null,"pmcid":null,"fwci":null,"citation_percentile":null,"influential_citations":0,"oa_status":null,"license":null,"views":0,"total_file_size_bytes":0,"version_count":0,"fair_f":null,"fair_a":null,"fair_i":null,"fair_r":null,"fair_zscore":null,"fair_rationale":null,"fair_model":null,"fair_agent_version":null,"fair_fulltext_source":null,"fair_has_llm":null,"fair_computed_at":null,"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"db_accessions":[],"linked_datasets":[],"topics":[]}
