KRAS mutations have emerged as aggressive drivers of disease. Here we discuss the role of KRAS mutations in metastatic progression of CRC. We describe how KRAS has become a useful biomarker in metastatic CRC and examine where future trials may look to target KRAS mutant tumors for therapeutic benefit.","is_dataset_classified":null,"base_score":0.6931471805599453,"endowment":0.6931471805599453,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"views":0,"has_version_chain":false,"is_dataset":false,"is_oa":false,"pmid":"31597434","pmcid":null,"openalex_id":"https://openalex.org/W31597434","authors":[],"funders":[],"total_grants":0,"fwci":0.0,"citation_percentile":0.01621346,"influential_citations":0,"citation_trend":[],"oa_status":"gold","license":"cc-by-nc-nd","oa_locations":[{"url":"https://cco.amegroups.com/article/viewFile/29036/25315","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"http://cco.amegroups.com/article/download/29036/25315","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"https://dialnet.unirioja.es/servlet/articulo?codigo=1291530","host_type":"journal"}],"fields_of_study":["Legal processes and jurisprudence","Comparative constitutional jurisprudence studies","Comparative International Legal Studies"],"mesh_terms":["Animals","Humans","Colorectal Neoplasms","Liver Neoplasms","Prognosis","Mutation","Proto-Oncogene Proteins p21(ras)"],"keywords":["Humanities","Political science","Philosophy","Cancer","Colorectal","Metastatic","Kras"],"sdg_mappings":[{"sdg_number":0,"sdg_label":"Peace, Justice and strong institutions"}],"linked_datasets":[],"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"database_accessions":[],"source":"live","citation_network_status":"fetched"},"created_at":"2026-07-29T17:11:53.857669Z","pmid":null,"pmcid":null,"fwci":null,"citation_percentile":null,"influential_citations":0,"oa_status":null,"license":null,"views":0,"total_file_size_bytes":0,"version_count":0,"fair_f":null,"fair_a":null,"fair_i":null,"fair_r":null,"fair_zscore":null,"fair_rationale":null,"fair_model":null,"fair_agent_version":null,"fair_fulltext_source":null,"fair_has_llm":null,"fair_computed_at":null,"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"db_accessions":[],"linked_datasets":[],"topics":[]}
