{"doi":"10.17925/enr.2009.04.01.91","title":"Caudal Zona Incerta as an Alternative Target for the Treatment of Tremor with Deep Brain Stimulation","abstract":"<jats:p>Stereotactic deep brain stimulation (DBS) of the thalamus and the subthalamic region has been shown to be effective in treating medically refractory tremor over the past few decades. In this article we discuss the merits and drawbacks of stimulating each of the targets in this region, in particular the caudal zona incerta nucleus (cZI).
