{"doi":"10.17605/osf.io/f5szu","title":"Exploring Transdiagnostic Mechanisms of Youth Externalizing Psychopathology: A Longitudinal Person-Centered Approach","abstract":"This project contains supplemental materials for the following study: Smith, J. N., Coxe, S., Jusko, M. L., Raiker, J. S., Parent, J., Nousen, E., Tipsord, J., Maron, L., Schmarder, K., & Musser, E. D. Exploring transdiagnostic mechanisms of youth externalizing psychopathology: A longitudinal person-centered approach. Clinical Psychological Science. Please see the study cited above for more information. You may contact Jessica N. Smith (corresponding author) with any questions. This OSF project contains two R Markdown files that were used to run the multinomial logistic regressions, and generate the corresponding predicted probability figures, in the study cited above. One file produces predicted probability figures with confidence intervals for the latent classes at each age, and the other file produces predicted probability figures without confidence intervals for the latent classes at each age as well as the multinomial logistic regressions for latent transition paths. These R markdown files were made specifically for this project, and no guarantees are made on the accuracy of this script for other purposes and datasets. If you would like to use this script, a portion of this script, or its logic, please cite the study and state any modifications. These analyses build upon the latent transition analysis of a prior study (Smith, J. N., Coxe, S., Jusko, M. L., Raiker, J. S., Parent, J., Nousen, E., Tipsord, J., Maron, L., & Musser, E. D [in press]. Developmental pathways of inattention, hyperactivity/impulsivity, and disruptive behaviors: A longitudinal person-centered approach. Clinical Psychological Science), which has its own OSF project and registration. Please note that the cited studies use data from the publicly available Oregon ADHD-1000 dataset. However, please note that the specific information provided throughout the Method sections reflects only the data relevant to the study at the time the data was acquired (data collection was still ongoing for later waves). Data that was available and clean at the time was sent directly to the present study authors via email and information in the Method is based partly upon personal communication with the Oregon Health & Science University data collection team. Please see Nigg and colleagues (2023), citation below, for full information about the finalized, publicly available Oregon ADHD-1000 dataset, which may differ slightly from the data used in our manuscripts. Within our works, we report how we determined the subsample used in the present study, the specific measures used in our secondary data analysis, and all manipulations to utilized variables. Nigg, J.
