Methods: 40 albino rats were enrolled in this study, and they were divided into four main groups, each group 10 rats. Where, group I, serves as a control, and group II was reated with Gentamicin 80mg/kg. The group III was treated with Losartan. While, group IV was treated with Losartan and Gentamicin. Results: Showed that Losartan has statistically significant nephro-protective effects. Their nephroprotective effects were assessed by:-1- histopathological studies. 2- Measuring serum levels of BUN, and, creatinnine. Conclusion: Losartan has renal-protective effects.","is_dataset_classified":null,"base_score":1.3862943611198906,"endowment":1.3862943611198906,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"views":0,"has_version_chain":false,"is_dataset":false,"is_oa":false,"pmid":"27103894","pmcid":null,"openalex_id":"https://openalex.org/W2582164001","authors":[],"funders":[],"total_grants":0,"fwci":0.2298,"citation_percentile":0.65692888,"influential_citations":0,"citation_trend":[{"year":2019,"count":1},{"year":2021,"count":1},{"year":2024,"count":1}],"oa_status":"gold","license":"cc-by","oa_locations":[{"url":"https://www.graphyonline.com/archives/IJCPP/2016/IJCPP-101/article.pdf","host_type":"journal"},{"url":"https://www.graphyonline.com/archives/IJCPP/2016/IJCPP-101/article.pdf","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"https://doi.org/10.15344/2456-3501/2016/101","host_type":"journal"}],"fields_of_study":["Diet, Metabolism, and Disease","Hormonal Regulation and Hypertension","Pharmacology and Obesity Treatment"],"mesh_terms":[],"keywords":["Losartan","Medicine","Creatinine","Urology","Angiotensin II receptor antagonist","Gentamicin","Antagonist","Internal medicine","Diabetes mellitus","Endocrinology","Angiotensin II","Pharmacology","Chemistry","Receptor","Antibiotics","aminoquinoline","antimalarial","antimicrobial","metal complexes","uracils"],"sdg_mappings":[{"sdg_number":0,"sdg_label":"Good health and well-being"}],"linked_datasets":[],"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"database_accessions":[],"source":"live","citation_network_status":"fetched"},"created_at":"2026-08-02T23:22:15.621089Z","pmid":null,"pmcid":null,"fwci":null,"citation_percentile":null,"influential_citations":0,"oa_status":null,"license":null,"views":0,"total_file_size_bytes":0,"version_count":0,"fair_f":null,"fair_a":null,"fair_i":null,"fair_r":null,"fair_zscore":null,"fair_rationale":null,"fair_model":null,"fair_agent_version":null,"fair_fulltext_source":null,"fair_has_llm":null,"fair_computed_at":null,"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"db_accessions":[],"linked_datasets":[],"topics":[]}
