Misciagno","orcid":null,"position":0,"is_corresponding":false}],"reference_count":0,"raw_metadata":{"has_enrichment":true,"resolved":true,"title":"De-Facto Feminism and Praxis","abstract":"This article uses the concepts of praxis to analyze feminist identification. In order to apply praxis to feminist identification, I first establish the historical roots of praxis, as well as the contemporary refinements of it as a concept. As an illustration of praxis, I develop the concept of de-facto feminism to account for those women whose praxis is feminist, even though they may not explicitly identify with the \"feminist\" label. Secondly, I underscore the connection between de-facto feminist praxis and the existence of an organized feminist movement by using recent contributions in the philosophy of praxis.
