{"doi":"10.1177/003754977402200406","title":"Analyzing the Use of Wilderness","abstract":"<jats:p>Increasing demand for low-density or wilderness recrea tion has caused the problems of management and alloca tion of undeveloped public lands to become an important problem. This paper describes a large-scale traffic- simulation model developed to evaluate the implications of alternative management strategies for the quality of the recreational services provided by wilderness areas.
