{"doi":"10.1161/01.res.7.1.68","title":"Further Observations on the Potentiation of Postnephrectomy Hypertension of the Dog by Dietary Protein","abstract":"<jats:p>An assay procedure for the evaluation of dietary factors in renoprival hypertension over a short period is described. By means of this procedure dietary protein was found to potentiate renoprival hypertension of the dog. In the absence of dietary protein 2.5 mEq. sodium per kilogram per day was attended by a slight but significant elevation in the arterial pressure.
