Known for their immune functions, eosinophils also mitigate obesity-related hyperinsulinemia, reducing airway hyperresponsiveness in obese mice models. The findings suggest potential therapeutic strategies targeting the intricate interplay among neurons, eosinophils, and the endocrine system to alleviate asthma in obesity.
