{"doi":"10.1143/jjap.44.7015","title":"Growth and Characterization of a New Nonlinear Borate Crystal: LiRbB<sub>6</sub>O<sub>10</sub>","abstract":"<jats:p> \n  A newly developed nonlinear optical crystal, LiRbB<jats:sub>6</jats:sub>O<jats:sub>10</jats:sub>, has been successfully grown by the Czochralski (CZ) method. The major problem in growing this crystal is that it becomes pulverized during cooling after growth. Growth conditions that would allow us to avoid such pulverization have been investigated in association with the hydrous reaction between a grown crystal and the water in it or in the growth atmosphere.
