{"doi":"10.1128/aac.47.12.3982-3984.2003","title":"Efficacyof Sulforaphane in Eradicating<i>Helicobacter pylori</i>in HumanGastric Xenografts Implanted in NudeMice","abstract":"<jats:title>ABSTRACT</jats:title><jats:p>Sulforaphane, an isothiocyanate abundant in the form of its glucosinolate precursor in broccoli sprouts, has shown in vitro activity against<jats:italic>Helicobacter pylori</jats:italic>. We evaluated the effect of sulforaphane in vivo against this bacterium by using human gastric xenografts in nude mice.<jats:italic>H. pylori</jats:italic>was completely eradicated in 8 of the 11 sulforaphane-treated grafts.
