{"doi":"10.1128/aac.00654-16","title":"Pyrazinamide Is Active against Mycobacterium tuberculosis Cultures at Neutral pH and Low Temperature","abstract":"<jats:title>ABSTRACT</jats:title>\n          <jats:p>\n            For the past decades, an acidic pH has been used to render\n            <jats:named-content xmlns:xlink=\"http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink\" content-type=\"genus-species\" xlink:type=\"simple\">Mycobacterium tuberculosis</jats:named-content>\n            susceptible to pyrazinamide for\n            <jats:italic>in vitro</jats:italic>\n            testing. Here, we show that at the standard breakpoint concentration and reduced culture temperatures, pyrazinamide (PZA) is active against tuberculosis (TB) at neutral pH.
