The pilot phase of the Project is focused on a specified 30 megabases (approximately 1%) of the human genome sequence and is organized as an international consortium of computational and laboratory-based scientists working to develop and apply high-throughput approaches for detecting all sequence elements that confer biological function. The results of this pilot phase will guide future efforts to analyze the entire human genome.","journal":"Science","year":2004,"id":9813,"datarank":22.224574211787626,"base_score":7.8050670442584895,"endowment":7.8050670442584895,"self_citation_contribution":1.1707600566387737,"citation_network_contribution":21.053814155148853,"self_endowment_contribution":1.1707600566387737,"citer_contribution":21.053814155148853,"corpus_percentile":99.8,"corpus_rank":2530,"citation_count":2452,"citer_count":200,"citers_with_citation_signal":200,"citers_with_endowment":200,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"is_dataset":true,"is_oa":false,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"has_version_chain":false,"published_date":"2004-10-22","authors":[],"reference_count":29,"raw_metadata":{"citation_network_status":"fetched"},"created_at":"2026-03-01T18:20:47.508186Z","pmid":null,"pmcid":null,"fwci":null,"citation_percentile":null,"influential_citations":0,"oa_status":null,"license":null,"views":0,"total_file_size_bytes":0,"version_count":0,"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"db_accessions":[],"linked_datasets":[],"topics":[]}
