Antisymmetric modes","abstract":"<jats:p>The Timoshenko–Mindlin plate equation of motion is modified in order to simultaneously specify the precise cutoff and asymptotic behavior of both antisymmetric modes of plate vibration described by it. A mathematical method for extending equations of motion to include higher order antisymmetric modes is presented.
