It is shown that if one chooses the field points appropriately, the set of finite difference equations is applicable for a boundary condition involving perfectly conducting surfaces. An example is given of the scattering of an electromagnetic pulse by a perfectly conducting cylinder.","journal":"IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation","year":1966,"id":10886,"datarank":38.337641370467004,"base_score":9.589803677545346,"endowment":9.589803677545346,"self_citation_contribution":1.4384705516318022,"citation_network_contribution":36.8991708188352,"self_endowment_contribution":1.4384705516318022,"citer_contribution":36.8991708188352,"corpus_percentile":99.7,"corpus_rank":889,"citation_count":14614,"citer_count":200,"citers_with_citation_signal":200,"citers_with_endowment":200,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"is_dataset":false,"is_oa":false,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"has_version_chain":false,"published_date":"1966-05-01","authors":[{"id":88935,"name":"K.S.
