The share of the common block of two circuits makes it possible to save 55% or 20% of power dissipation, depending on the operating mode. The chip in 0.18-μm CMOS technology occupies an area of 0.82×0.82 mm2, 70% of the total area of a typical unshared transceiver chip. The transmitting and receiving modes of operation show -3-dB bandwidths of 2.2 and 2.4 GHz and electrical isolations of -28 and -40 dB, respectively.","is_dataset_classified":null,"base_score":2.639057329615259,"endowment":2.639057329615259,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"views":0,"has_version_chain":false,"is_dataset":false,"is_oa":false,"pmid":"19162232","pmcid":null,"openalex_id":"https://openalex.org/W2161127017","authors":[],"funders":[],"total_grants":0,"fwci":1.874,"citation_percentile":0.86282813,"influential_citations":0,"citation_trend":[{"year":2013,"count":1},{"year":2015,"count":1},{"year":2017,"count":1},{"year":2019,"count":1}],"oa_status":"closed","license":"https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/Xplorehelp/downloads/license-information/IEEE.html","oa_locations":[{"url":"http://xplorestaging.ieee.org/ielx5/68/32994/01546040.pdf?arnumber=1546040","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"https://doi.org/10.1109/lpt.2005.859993","host_type":"journal"}],"fields_of_study":["Semiconductor Lasers and Optical Devices","Photonic and Optical Devices","Optical Network Technologies"],"mesh_terms":[],"keywords":["Transceiver","CMOS","Chip","Transmitter","Electrical engineering","Dissipation","Block (permutation group theory)","Optoelectronics","Electronic engineering","Computer science","Materials science","Engineering","Physics","Channel (broadcasting)"],"sdg_mappings":[{"sdg_number":0,"sdg_label":"Affordable and clean energy"}],"linked_datasets":[],"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"database_accessions":[],"source":"live","citation_network_status":"fetched"},"created_at":"2026-08-12T00:39:50.951663Z","pmid":null,"pmcid":null,"fwci":null,"citation_percentile":null,"influential_citations":0,"oa_status":null,"license":null,"views":0,"total_file_size_bytes":0,"version_count":0,"fair_f":null,"fair_a":null,"fair_i":null,"fair_r":null,"fair_zscore":null,"fair_rationale":null,"fair_model":null,"fair_agent_version":null,"fair_fulltext_source":null,"fair_has_llm":null,"fair_computed_at":null,"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"db_accessions":[],"linked_datasets":[],"topics":[]}
