Many popular microblogging services have been empirically investigated. This paper attempts to seek unique characteristics of a peculiar microblogging service: Yiban Microblog. It is limited to college students and staffs with inherent verified accounts. We conduct an almost exhaustive measurement on the Yiban microblogging service. Unexpectedly, these college students are empirically found to seldom login into Yiban Microblog, reluctantly to post microblogs, and to follow few other users.
