Here, we adapted and systematically benchmarked a newly developed, mostly-natural sequencing by synthesis method for scRNA-seq. We demonstrate successful application in four scRNA-seq case studies of different technical and biological types, including 5’ and 3’ scRNA-seq, human peripheral blood mononuclear cells from a single individual and in multiplex, as well as Perturb-Seq. Our data show comparable results to existing technology, including compatibility with state-of-the-art scRNA-seq libraries independent of the sequencing technology used – thus providing an enhanced cost-effective path for large scale scRNA-seq.","journal":"bioRxiv (Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory)","year":2022,"id":6264,"datarank":0.39855962882196855,"base_score":0.6931471805599453,"endowment":0.6931471805599453,"self_citation_contribution":0.10397207708399181,"citation_network_contribution":0.29458755173797674,"self_endowment_contribution":0.10397207708399181,"citer_contribution":0.29458755173797674,"corpus_percentile":null,"corpus_rank":null,"citation_count":1,"citer_count":1,"citers_with_citation_signal":1,"citers_with_endowment":1,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"is_dataset":false,"is_dataset_confidence":0.0548,"is_data_producer":false,"deposit_databanks":null,"is_oa":true,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"has_version_chain":false,"published_date":"2022-05-29","fair_score":null,"fair_percentile":null,"algorithm_id":"datarank_citation_only_1hop_v6","ranking_scope":"data_only","authors":[{"id":58405,"name":"Gila Lithwick-Yanai","orcid":null,"position":1,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":50708,"name":"Xian Adiconis","orcid":"0000-0002-4052-2503","position":2,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":58406,"name":"Florian Oberstrass","orcid":null,"position":3,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":58407,"name":"Nika Iremadze","orcid":"0000-0002-4977-204X","position":4,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":6117,"name":"Kathryn Geiger-Schuller","orcid":"0000-0002-6705-0681","position":5,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":36097,"name":"Pratiksha I.
