Seizures are a frequent presenting symptom for patients with brain tumors. While the neurologic syndromes may vary, seizures remain at the front of mind of the treating oncologist as the patient progresses through their treatment journey. Typically, at presentation, patients are started on an antiepileptic medication followed by a therapeutic and diagnostic surgery, and decisions are then made regarding further treatment based on the tumor’s molecular pathology.
