Same, MD Potential Conflicts of Interest: None INTRODUCTION We are pleased to present abstracts from the 14th Annual International Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship Conference, held May 29-31, 2024, in St. Louis, Missouri. This conference has grown markedly in both size and scope since the first meeting of 30 people in Kansas City, Missouri in 2010. This year, we hosted 200 attendees, in-person and virtually, and covered topics ranging from how breakpoints are established to environmental sustainability in healthcare. In addition to the main agenda, we were excited to again offer a pre-conference workshop, which focused on teamwork and leadership to prevent burnout in stewardship. We are proud to provide an opportunity for our fellows to share their research, and to learn from global leaders in antimicrobial stewardship as they share their efforts to combat antimicrobial resistance in resource-limited settings. Jason Newland founded and has led the stewardship conference since its inception. Despite its growth over time, it has retained his warmth, friendliness, and good humor. As Jason gradually transitions leadership of the conference into new hands, we are so grateful for his example and are honored to continue in the tradition that he started. Jason – thank you for building this collaborative, educational, and exceptionally fun meeting. We also want to thank the conference planning committee, Cindy Terrill, Lori Barganier, Michelle Padgett and the Washington University CME team, and The Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society for the support they provide to make this conference possible.
