{"doi":"10.1093/bib/bbaf145","title":"FusionPub, a therapeutic landscape of human fusion genes","abstract":"To advance the development of fusion protein-targeting therapeutics, it is crucial to understand how patients with fusion oncoproteins have been treated and what small molecules have been studied. To fill this gap, we developed FusionPub, a knowledgebase of the therapeutic landscape of human fusion genes. We searched PubMed abstracts for 107K human fusion genes with 14K drugs. We also searched PubMed abstracts for 18K human fusion proteins, considering all gene synonyms of individual partner genes with 14K drugs. After manual curation, we found 17 342 records from 9623 PubMed abstracts. For these fusion genes and drugs, we provide a summary sentence of their relationship using the generative AI, details of the drugs, clinical trial records, common drug records from patient treatment history, etc. FusionPub will be a valuable and unique resource providing knowledge of the development of fusion gene targeting therapeutics.","journal":"Briefings in Bioinformatics","year":2025,"id":543650,"datarank":0.10397207708399181,"base_score":0.6931471805599453,"endowment":0.6931471805599453,"self_citation_contribution":0.10397207708399181,"citation_network_contribution":0.0,"self_endowment_contribution":0.10397207708399181,"citer_contribution":0.0,"corpus_percentile":22.178386323199504,"corpus_rank":9377,"citation_count":1,"citer_count":1,"citers_with_citation_signal":0,"citers_with_endowment":0,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"is_dataset":true,"is_dataset_confidence":0.8305,"is_data_producer":false,"deposit_databanks":null,"is_oa":true,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"has_version_chain":false,"published_date":"2025-01-01","fair_score":41.6667,"fair_percentile":54.173035768878016,"algorithm_id":"datarank_citation_only_1hop_v6","ranking_scope":"data_only","authors":[{"id":1433236,"name":"Abayomi Adegunlehin","orcid":"0000-0001-7250-4062","position":1,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":1433237,"name":"Zikang Chen","orcid":"0009-0003-0546-5798","position":2,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":362122,"name":"Pora Kim","orcid":"0000-0002-8321-6864","position":3,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":658547,"name":"Himansu Kumar","orcid":"0000-0002-4335-4517","position":0,"is_corresponding":true}],"reference_count":11,"raw_metadata":null,"created_at":"2026-07-19T02:53:04.088079Z","pmid":"40188496","pmcid":"PMC11972630","fwci":null,"citation_percentile":null,"influential_citations":0,"oa_status":null,"license":null,"views":0,"total_file_size_bytes":0,"version_count":0,"fair_f":38.8889,"fair_a":62.5,"fair_i":60.0,"fair_r":33.3333,"fair_zscore":0.2857,"fair_rationale":{"fair_score":41.67,"has_llm":true,"taxonomy_version":"fair_taxonomy_v5","dimensions":{"F":{"name":"Findable","score":38.89,"criteria":[{"key":"f_dataset_pid","label":"Persistent identifier for the data","kind":"llm","weight":2.0,"fraction":0.5,"verdict":"partial","evidence":"All annotation results are available from the FusionPub website ( https://compbio.uth.edu/FusionPub ).","grounded":true,"rationale":"The only identifier given for the dataset is a URL that is not a DOI, Handle, ARK, URN, or repository accession; it is a web address (class 2).
