The present work is focused on the study of the sintering behaviour as well as on the electric and ferroelectric properties of this m = 2 Aurivillius phase. Ceramic samples were obtained by the conventional mixed oxides method. Sintering was performed between 950 and 1100°C and the obtained sintering behaviour reflected a very high level of stability in this material.
