{"doi":"10.1046/j.1365-2818.1998.00294.x","title":"The effect of detector size on the signal‐to‐noise ratio in confocal polarized light microscopy","abstract":"<jats:p>We introduce a signal‐to‐noise ratio in an attempt to suggest an optimum pinhole size for confocal polarized light microscopes.
