SEAoxy peptide was straightforwardly synthesized by conventional Fmoc solid-phase peptide synthesis without a problem. Moreover, SEAoxy peptide could be directly applied to native chemical ligation owing to the intramolecular N-to-S acyl shift that releases the peptide-thioester in situ.
