The lack of information, misinformation, and ignorance surrounding perimenopause and menopause has resulted in significant suffering and harm to women's health that has largely been tolerated by society (Faubion & Shufelt, 2022). Changes to systems of health care are urgently needed to improve the health and lives of peri/menopausal people.
