Sperm DNA damage can be both a barrier to natural pregnancy and successful assisted reproductive technology (ART). The aim of this narrative review was to describe and highlight the effects of sperm DNA fragmentation and the most recent data on various treatment strategies to decrease sperm DNA damage.
