{"doi":"10.1016/j.hrthm.2024.06.002","title":"Top stories: Atrial fibrillation diagnosis","abstract":"Several lifestyle factors are associated with the development of atrial fibrillation (AF), and interventions targeting these lifestyle factors have been shown to reduce incident AF. A novel AF risk prediction score incorporating lifestyle factors, the HARMS2-AF risk score, was recently proposed.1 This score, ranging from 0 to 14, incorporates information about hypertension, age, “raised” body mass index, male sex, sleep apnea, smoking, and alcohol.
