Because of its excellent side effect profile and moderate efficacy, ECP is considered first-line therapy for erythrodermic mycosis fungoides (MF) and Sézary syndrome. Patients with a measurable but low blood tumor burden are most likely to respond to ECP, and the addition of adjunctive immunostimulatory agents may also increase response rates. There may be a role for ECP in the treatment of refractory early stage MF, but data are limited.","is_dataset_classified":null,"base_score":3.7376696182833684,"endowment":3.7376696182833684,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"views":0,"has_version_chain":false,"is_dataset":false,"is_oa":false,"pmid":"26433848","pmcid":null,"openalex_id":"https://openalex.org/W1813742668","authors":[],"funders":[],"total_grants":0,"fwci":2.7574,"citation_percentile":0.89517594,"influential_citations":0,"citation_trend":[{"year":2015,"count":1},{"year":2016,"count":3},{"year":2017,"count":2},{"year":2018,"count":3},{"year":2019,"count":3},{"year":2020,"count":6},{"year":2021,"count":3},{"year":2022,"count":3},{"year":2023,"count":6},{"year":2024,"count":6},{"year":2025,"count":1},{"year":2026,"count":2}],"oa_status":"hybrid","license":"cc-by-nc-nd","oa_locations":[{"url":"https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S073386351500056X/pdf","host_type":"journal"},{"url":"https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S073386351500056X/pdf","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"https://api.elsevier.com/content/article/PII:S073386351500056X?httpAccept=text/xml","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"https://api.elsevier.com/content/article/PII:S073386351500056X?httpAccept=text/plain","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"https://doi.org/10.1016/j.det.2015.05.011","host_type":"journal"},{"url":"https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26433848","host_type":"repository"}],"fields_of_study":["Cutaneous lymphoproliferative disorders research","CAR-T cell therapy research","Lymphoma Diagnosis and Treatment","Antineoplastic Agents","Chemotherapy, Adjuvant","Humans","Immunomodulation","Methoxsalen","Mycosis Fungoides","Photopheresis","Photosensitizing Agents","Sezary Syndrome","Skin Neoplasms","Treatment Outcome"],"mesh_terms":["Antineoplastic Agents","Humans","Methoxsalen","Mycosis Fungoides","Sezary Syndrome","Skin Neoplasms","Treatment Outcome","Chemotherapy, Adjuvant","Photosensitizing Agents","Photopheresis","Immunomodulation"],"keywords":["Photopheresis","Extracorporeal Photopheresis","Mycosis fungoides","Medicine","Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma","Refractory (planetary science)","Peripheral T-cell lymphoma","Lymphoma","Dermatology","Immunology","Leukapheresis","Immune system","T cell","Internal medicine","Graft-versus-host disease","Disease","Stem cell","photochemotherapy","Sézary Syndrome"],"sdg_mappings":[{"sdg_number":0,"sdg_label":"Good health and well-being"}],"linked_datasets":[],"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"database_accessions":[],"source":"live","citation_network_status":"fetched"},"created_at":"2026-08-16T12:15:32.327671Z","pmid":null,"pmcid":null,"fwci":null,"citation_percentile":null,"influential_citations":0,"oa_status":null,"license":null,"views":0,"total_file_size_bytes":0,"version_count":0,"fair_f":null,"fair_a":null,"fair_i":null,"fair_r":null,"fair_zscore":null,"fair_rationale":null,"fair_model":null,"fair_agent_version":null,"fair_fulltext_source":null,"fair_has_llm":null,"fair_computed_at":null,"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"db_accessions":[],"linked_datasets":[],"topics":[]}
