{"doi":"10.1016/j.cdnut.2025.107542","title":"Co-Development of Infant Satiation Cues and Maternal Feeding Behaviors during Infancy","abstract":"Background: Although prior research has identified infant behaviors signaling hunger, receptiveness to feeding, needs to disengage from feeding, and satiation, further research is needed to better understand variability in the extent to which infants exhibit these behaviors and how infants' feeding cues and caregivers' responses to these cues may co-develop over time. Objectives: To describe age differences in the number and types of disengagement and satiation behaviors infants display during feeding, mothers' feeding behaviors, and the correspondence between infants' and mothers' behaviors across the first year.
