{"doi":"10.1016/j.brs.2023.05.010","title":"The importance of accurately representing electrode position in transcranial direct current stimulation computational models","abstract":"Finite element method (FEM) based models derived from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) have become ubiquitous tools for estimating transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) effects [1,2]. With increasingly available free toolboxes, researchers can quickly examine the electrical current distribution that mimics the actual setting of tDCS clinical studies.
