Fasbinder","orcid":null,"position":0,"is_corresponding":false}],"reference_count":0,"raw_metadata":{"has_enrichment":true,"resolved":true,"title":"Tensile bond strength of dental adhesives to dentin and enamel","abstract":"This study compared the tensile bond strengths of an unfilled resin bonding agent and four proprietary dentin bonding agents to dentin and acid-etched enamel. Forty-eight hours after bonding, 10 dentin-bonded teeth and 10 enamel-bonded teeth for each material were loaded in tension in an Instron Universal Testing Machine until bond failure. The remaining specimens were stored in a water bath for six months and then tested in a similar manner. At the end of six months, Universal Bond and Tenure (3-step) had bond strengths significantly greater than those of the other agents.
