Sequence analysis demonstrates that, in gag and pol, SFVmmu-DPZ9524 is more closely related to R289HybAGM than to SFVmmu_K3T, which, outside of env, is more similar to a Japanese macaque isolate than to the other two rhesus macaque isolates SFVmmu-DPZ9524 and R289HybAGM.
