Among the recently discovered TRP cation channels two homologous proteins, TRPM6 and TRPM7, display unique domain compositions and biophysical properties. These remarkable genes are vital for Mg(2+) homeostasis in vertebrates and, if disrupted, lead to cell death or human disease.","is_dataset_classified":null,"base_score":3.7612001156935624,"endowment":3.7612001156935624,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"views":0,"has_version_chain":false,"is_dataset":false,"is_oa":false,"pmid":"15902429","pmcid":null,"openalex_id":"https://openalex.org/W2140108870","authors":[],"funders":[],"total_grants":0,"fwci":3.0629,"citation_percentile":0.90791855,"influential_citations":0,"citation_trend":[{"year":2012,"count":5},{"year":2013,"count":2},{"year":2014,"count":4},{"year":2015,"count":2},{"year":2017,"count":2},{"year":2018,"count":1},{"year":2019,"count":1},{"year":2020,"count":1},{"year":2021,"count":1},{"year":2024,"count":1},{"year":2025,"count":1}],"oa_status":"bronze","license":"http://www.springer.com/tdm","oa_locations":[{"url":"https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007/s00210-005-1056-4.pdf","host_type":"journal"},{"url":"https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007/s00210-005-1056-4.pdf","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"http://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007/s00210-005-1056-4.pdf","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00210-005-1056-4/fulltext.html","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"http://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1007/s00210-005-1056-4","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"https://doi.org/10.1007/s00210-005-1056-4","host_type":"journal"},{"url":"https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15902429","host_type":"repository"}],"fields_of_study":["Magnesium in Health and Disease","Ion Channels and Receptors","Animals","Base Sequence","Humans","Magnesium","Mice","Molecular Sequence Data","Phosphotransferases","Protein Serine-Threonine Kinases","Signal Transduction","TRPM Cation Channels"],"mesh_terms":["Animals","Base Sequence","Humans","Magnesium","Molecular Sequence Data","Phosphotransferases","Signal Transduction","Protein Serine-Threonine Kinases","TRPM Cation Channels","Mice"],"keywords":["TRPM7","Signal transduction","Ion channel","Cell biology","Chemistry","Biology","Biochemistry","Receptor"],"sdg_mappings":[{"sdg_number":0,"sdg_label":"Life in Land"}],"linked_datasets":[],"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"database_accessions":[],"source":"live","citation_network_status":"fetched"},"created_at":"2026-08-02T18:09:41.319062Z","pmid":null,"pmcid":null,"fwci":null,"citation_percentile":null,"influential_citations":0,"oa_status":null,"license":null,"views":0,"total_file_size_bytes":0,"version_count":0,"fair_f":null,"fair_a":null,"fair_i":null,"fair_r":null,"fair_zscore":null,"fair_rationale":null,"fair_model":null,"fair_agent_version":null,"fair_fulltext_source":null,"fair_has_llm":null,"fair_computed_at":null,"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"db_accessions":[],"linked_datasets":[],"topics":[]}
