{"doi":"10.1002/zamm.19910711002","title":"Unsteady Stokes Flow in a Distensible Pipe","abstract":"<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>In this paper the solution is presented of the problem of unsteady Stokes flow in a semi‐infinite distensible pipe, with initial conditions given at the pipe inlet. The solution is obtained through an eigenfunction expansion, utilizing Van Kampen's method for the determination of the expansion coefficients.
