This study aims to develop a minimum set of priority CDEs for maternal health research. Methods: National Institute of Child Health and Human Development convened a panel of experts, including representatives from research centers, professional associations, and government agencies, to advise on CDEs for maternal health research. A landscape analysis identified constructs, such as health conditions, health behaviors, or patient attributes, commonly measured in maternal health research. Using a modified Delphi technique, panelists prioritized which constructs were important to standardize and then rated the validity and feasibility of CDE candidates for each priority construct. Results: Delphi panelists prioritized 36 biomedical and 22 psychosocial constructs for standardized data collection. A literature review identified 204 CDE candidates (89 biomedical and 115 psychosocial) for measuring priority constructs. Delphi panelists rated their validity and feasibility and, subsequently, endorsed top-rated CDEs. CDE recommendations include expert-endorsed, standardized measures for maternal health conditions, outcomes, medical care, health history, behavioral health, social factors, and demographics, with guidance on data sources, measurement methods, and ethical considerations. Conclusion: Through an expert consensus-building process, our study produced recommendations for harmonizing data collection of a minimum set of priority constructs for maternal health research. These CDEs are expected to help improve data quality and interoperability, fostering opportunities to synthesize information and advance maternal health science.","journal":"Pregnancy","year":2025,"id":534981,"datarank":0.0,"base_score":0.0,"endowment":0.0,"self_citation_contribution":0.0,"citation_network_contribution":0.0,"self_endowment_contribution":0.0,"citer_contribution":0.0,"corpus_percentile":null,"corpus_rank":null,"citation_count":2,"citer_count":0,"citers_with_citation_signal":0,"citers_with_endowment":0,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"is_dataset":false,"is_dataset_confidence":0.9346,"is_data_producer":false,"deposit_databanks":null,"is_oa":true,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"has_version_chain":false,"published_date":"2025-01-01","fair_score":null,"fair_percentile":null,"algorithm_id":"datarank_citation_only_1hop_v6","ranking_scope":"data_only","authors":[{"id":876574,"name":"Carrie Wolfson","orcid":"0000-0003-4540-2882","position":1,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":269860,"name":"Sarah Clifford","orcid":"0009-0006-6292-9685","position":2,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":1418120,"name":"Meighan Mary","orcid":"0000-0003-1013-366X","position":3,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":1418599,"name":"Angela Burgess","orcid":null,"position":4,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":943441,"name":"Khyzer B.
