METHODS: Forty-nine fetuses with growth restriction and absent or reversed end-diastolic velocity of the umbilical artery were studied. The size, shape, and sphericity index of the 4-chamber view, RV, and LV were assessed. The number and percentage of fetuses with z score values of less than -1.65 and greater than 1.65 were computed. RESULTS: Of the 49 fetuses, there were 13 perinatal deaths (27%) and 36 (63%) neonatal survivors. Measurements that were unique for neonatal survivors were an increased RV apical transverse width and decreased measurements of the following: LV and RV widths, LV and RV areas, as well as RV sphericity indices. CONCLUSIONS: Fetuses with a smaller RV and LV size and area and those with a globular-shaped RV were at significantly lower risk for perinatal death.","journal":"Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine","year":2020,"id":69396,"datarank":0.0,"base_score":0.0,"endowment":0.0,"self_citation_contribution":0.0,"citation_network_contribution":0.0,"self_endowment_contribution":0.0,"citer_contribution":0.0,"corpus_percentile":null,"corpus_rank":null,"citation_count":21,"citer_count":0,"citers_with_citation_signal":0,"citers_with_endowment":0,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"is_dataset":false,"is_dataset_confidence":0.9565,"is_data_producer":false,"deposit_databanks":null,"is_oa":true,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"has_version_chain":false,"published_date":"2020-01-01","fair_score":null,"fair_percentile":null,"algorithm_id":"datarank_citation_only_1hop_v6","ranking_scope":"data_only","authors":[{"id":367462,"name":"Percy Pacora Portella","orcid":"0000-0003-3666-9593","position":1,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":368228,"name":"Edgar Hernández Andrade","orcid":null,"position":2,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":240936,"name":"Lami Yeo","orcid":"0000-0001-6389-0993","position":3,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":236857,"name":"Roberto Romero","orcid":"0000-0002-4448-5121","position":4,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":367461,"name":"Greggory R.
