Stable 99m Tc‐SC binding to the solid component of the meal is imperative for accurate result interpretation. The objective of this study is to quantify the binding characteristics of 99m Tc‐SC to blenderized tube feeds. 99m Tc‐SC stably bound to chicken and egg blenderized diets over 4 h, the typical duration of gastric emptying exams. While more 99m Tc‐SC was found in the liquid phase for both blenderized feeds compared to the standard egg meal, this was within clinically acceptable range (chicken‐blend T 0 15%, T 1h 17%, and T 4h 18.5%; egg‐blend T 0 12%, T 1h 11%, and T 4h 10%; egg‐standard T 0 2.5%, T 1h 3.5%, and T 4h 7%, p < 0.05 for all pairwise comparisons at each time point except chicken‐blend vs. egg‐blend at T 0 ). Results suggest that 99m Tc‐SC binding characteristics in blenderized feeds are acceptable for use in GES.","journal":"JPGN Reports","year":2025,"id":570769,"datarank":0.0,"base_score":0.0,"endowment":0.0,"self_citation_contribution":0.0,"citation_network_contribution":0.0,"self_endowment_contribution":0.0,"citer_contribution":0.0,"corpus_percentile":null,"corpus_rank":null,"citation_count":0,"citer_count":0,"citers_with_citation_signal":0,"citers_with_endowment":0,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"is_dataset":false,"is_dataset_confidence":0.9541,"is_data_producer":false,"deposit_databanks":null,"is_oa":true,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"has_version_chain":false,"published_date":"2025-01-01","fair_score":null,"fair_percentile":null,"algorithm_id":"datarank_citation_only_1hop_v6","ranking_scope":"data_only","authors":[{"id":381706,"name":"Thomas S.C.
