The adsorption of these nucleobases on C\n                    <jats:sub>19</jats:sub>\n                    Cr leads to two distinct geometries (P1 and P2) differing in the orientation of the nucleobases. The interaction of the nucleobases with the C\n                    <jats:sub>19</jats:sub>\n                    Cr nanocluster is highly exothermic, revealing that they are chemically adsorbed on C\n                    <jats:sub>19</jats:sub>\n                    Cr. The results show that the binding energy of the thymine–C\n                    <jats:sub>19</jats:sub>\n                    Cr complex is slightly higher than that of the uracil–C\n                    <jats:sub>19</jats:sub>\n                    Cr complex. In addition, the P2 geometry is more stable compared to P1 due to the higher binding energy in the former configuration. However, based on the results of natural bond orbital and frontier molecular orbitals analyses, the C\n                    <jats:sub>19</jats:sub>\n                    Cr nanocage has higher reactivity with the nucleobases in P1 geometry in comparison with P2 due to the larger charge transfer and orbital hybridization in the former geometry. Moreover, the band gap of the C\n                    <jats:sub>19</jats:sub>\n                    Cr nanocage decreases after interaction with the nucleobases, and interestingly the impact is more pronounced for P1 geometry, confirming the higher sensitivity of C\n                    <jats:sub>19</jats:sub>\n                    Cr to the nucleobases in P1 geometry. Our findings reveal the promising potential of C\n                    <jats:sub>19</jats:sub>\n                    Cr as an organometallic carrier for nucleobases thymine and uracil.\n                  </jats:p>","journal":"Applied Organometallic Chemistry","year":2018,"id":41997,"datarank":1.4871098738474176,"base_score":3.58351893845611,"endowment":3.58351893845611,"self_citation_contribution":0.5375278407684165,"citation_network_contribution":0.949582033079001,"self_endowment_contribution":0.5375278407684165,"citer_contribution":0.949582033079001,"corpus_percentile":null,"corpus_rank":null,"citation_count":35,"citer_count":26,"citers_with_citation_signal":25,"citers_with_endowment":25,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"is_dataset":false,"is_dataset_confidence":null,"is_data_producer":false,"deposit_databanks":null,"is_oa":false,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"has_version_chain":false,"published_date":null,"fair_score":null,"fair_percentile":null,"algorithm_id":"datarank_citation_only_1hop_v6","ranking_scope":"data_only","authors":[{"id":201566,"name":"Sadegh Mehdi Aghaei","orcid":null,"position":1,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":201567,"name":"Elaheh Aali","orcid":null,"position":2,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":201568,"name":"Majid Peyravi","orcid":null,"position":3,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":201569,"name":"Mohsen Jahanshahi","orcid":null,"position":4,"is_corresponding":false},{"id":201565,"name":"Ali Shokuhi Rad","orcid":"0000-0002-2426-0339","position":0,"is_corresponding":false}],"reference_count":0,"raw_metadata":{"has_enrichment":true,"base_score":3.58351893845611,"endowment":3.58351893845611,"datacite_reuse_total":0,"file_count":0,"downloads":0,"views":0,"has_version_chain":false,"is_dataset":false,"is_oa":false,"pmid":"18998881","pmcid":null,"openalex_id":"https://openalex.org/W2759761934","authors":[],"funders":[],"total_grants":0,"fwci":2.4678,"citation_percentile":0.89100417,"influential_citations":0,"citation_trend":[{"year":2017,"count":2},{"year":2018,"count":2},{"year":2019,"count":8},{"year":2020,"count":8},{"year":2021,"count":7},{"year":2022,"count":3},{"year":2023,"count":3},{"year":2025,"count":1},{"year":2026,"count":1}],"oa_status":"closed","license":"http://doi.wiley.com/10.1002/tdm_license_1.1","oa_locations":[{"url":"https://api.wiley.com/onlinelibrary/tdm/v1/articles/10.1002%2Faoc.4070","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/pdf/10.1002/aoc.4070","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full-xml/10.1002/aoc.4070","host_type":"publisher"},{"url":"https://doi.org/10.1002/aoc.4070","host_type":"journal"}],"fields_of_study":["Fullerene Chemistry and Applications","Graphene research and applications","Boron and Carbon Nanomaterials Research","Chemistry","Materials Science"],"mesh_terms":[],"keywords":["Nucleobase","Thymine","Chemistry","Uracil","Density functional theory","Crystallography","Natural bond orbital","Fullerene","Computational chemistry","Stereochemistry","Organic chemistry","DNA"],"sdg_mappings":[{"sdg_number":0,"sdg_label":"Affordable and clean energy"}],"linked_datasets":[],"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"database_accessions":[],"source":"live","citation_network_status":"fetched"},"created_at":"2026-06-13T18:06:36.667722Z","pmid":null,"pmcid":null,"fwci":null,"citation_percentile":null,"influential_citations":0,"oa_status":null,"license":null,"views":0,"total_file_size_bytes":0,"version_count":0,"fair_f":null,"fair_a":null,"fair_i":null,"fair_r":null,"fair_zscore":null,"fair_rationale":null,"fair_model":null,"fair_agent_version":null,"fair_fulltext_source":null,"fair_has_llm":null,"fair_computed_at":null,"clinical_trials":[],"software_tools":[],"db_accessions":[],"linked_datasets":[],"topics":[]}
