{"doi":"10.1002/adem.200300567","title":"Nanostructured High‐Entropy Alloys with Multiple Principal Elements: Novel Alloy Design Concepts and Outcomes","abstract":"<jats:p>A new approach for the design of alloys is presented in this study. These “high‐entropy alloys” with multi‐principal elements were synthesized using well‐developed processing technologies. Preliminary results demonstrate examples of the alloys with simple crystal structures, nanostructures, and promising mechanical properties.
